Amazon.com Review The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. Perfect for backyard barbecues or just whipping up an evening meal, this impressive grill has a cooking surface (22-1/2 inches in diameter) big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum. The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds. For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

Weber One-Touch Grill March 16, 2010 LAW (JC, MO USA) I like the Weber gill for ease of handling, cooking and cleaning. If I were cooking for a large crowd this would not be the grill to use. But for the family home evening or week-end BBQ it is ideal.
Love my Weber November 29, 2009 Jon R. Gilmore (Westminster,Ca) I've had 2 Webers over the last 20 something years and there is nothing I haven't been able to cook. A large turkey stuffed takes less than 3 hours. The One-Touch vent control on the bottom makes it easy to fine tune the cooking temperature along with the vent on the cover. The One-Touch lever also makes it very convenient to remove the ashes in the bottom of the kettle. I like this Weber so much I bought one along with a hinged grate as a gift for my brother this summer. I've never owned a gas bbq and at this point I don't see a reason to.
The 1 - touch Weber grill November 1, 2009 D. Gallagher (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
While this grill does an excellent job of cooking various meals I now wish I had foreseen the following:
1 - no side table to place the food both before and after cooking
2 - no place to hang your barbecue utensils
3 - the lid has no hinge meaning you have to set the cover aside every time you need access
4 - assembly was not so easy
However, in its' defense, the meats I've barbecued have come out excellent! Very thourough and evenly cooked food.
All in all, for the price it's a decent bargain.
Still a Great Barbecue! October 12, 2009 D. Tostenson I got one of these almost thirty years ago as a wedding gift. After using it for ten years we switched to a gas barbecue for the convenience. After wearing out three gas units, we have purchased a new Weber and love it. It is easy to use, inexpensive, and the food tastes much better with a charcoal barbecue. They improved the intake vent setup and ash pan from our original model. Other than that it is the same and works just as well.
Best Grill October 5, 2009 N. Abrahamson (USA) Everyone needs to buy a Weber grill there is nothing that compares to the construction and quality of one. This is my first Weber that I have purchased for myself after moving into a new house and not being able to use my parents who also have a Weber. I would recommend this brand to anyone. Charcoal is such a better method to cooking food so why would anyone want a gas grill. The 22.5 inch grill has plenty of room for burgers and brats and is really easy to use.
