Weber's One-Touch Gold kettle grill is a great buy for anyone looking for a classic model with a few convenient extras. The design is sleek. The results are delicious. As with all Weber grills, this kettle's lid and bowl are constructed of premium porcelain-enameled steel--which means not only does heat radiate evenly, but the grill will survive if it's left out in the rain. The cooking surface (22-1/2 inches in diameter) is big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs, and the grill's classic kettle shape keeps flare-ups to a minimum. When designing this grill, Weber clearly kept convenience in mind. The grill's nickel-plated grate has two built-in hinged side openings that make adding more charcoal briquettes easy and safe, and, when the lid's not in use, it can hang from the bowl by a handy hook. The grill is durable, too. The porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust either, and its tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels--besides being exceptionally sturdy--make the grill remarkably easy to maneuver. I've had this grill for a couple of years now and I am still impressed with the excellent food that comes off of it. I can make some delicious
medium rare fillets with this grill using charcoal offset to one side. Same with chicken. I just bought a Smokenator 1000 used exclusively for the 22.5 inch kettle. This device turns the grill into a low and slow water smoker. My first batch of ribs were fantastic. Just did a pork butt yesterday and it was also excellent. I highly recommend this product,the grill and smokenator 1000, buy it you won't regret it!!!
Best Charcoal Grill I've owned October 15, 2008
This is the best Charcoal grill I have owned. I even use it more than my gas grill. I convinced my dad to buy one and he loves his. A plus is the many accessories that you can buy for it

I only purchased this less than a month ago. It cooks very well and it looks very nice too (especially in blue). My complaint is that I now have found rust forming around the area where the handle joins with the lid. I was very disappointed since I have owned Weber kettles before and they have been very durable in the weather. The product has not been manhandled and only subject to rain. I hope to have this remedied in the near future as I still have confidence in Weber and Amazon.

Good old American quality. The fit and finish is perfect. It performs great. I purchased the seperate hanger for flipper, tongs, etc and it is perfect for this grill. I chose the blue grill and it looks like the high end grill that is a Weber. My next purchase will be the matching gas model.

The grill was easy to put together, just would have been nice if it can with some instruction.It only took about thirty minutes to put together and start grilling.
